Evacuations: Navigating Winter´s Urgency
World HAND International is committed to bring people to safe grounds. We engage in individual and mass evacuations.
Our individual evacuation efforts are focused on those with specific needs, such as medical requirements or other individuals who must be transported in a lying position. Simultaneously, our mass evacuation endeavors are aimed at efficiently relocating larger groups of people from danger zones.
In our evacuations, we utilize a combination of various vehicles and work with safe rooms along the routes, to serve during long journeys or necessary rest periods.
Crucially, winter intensifies the challenges faced by those affected. The harsh conditions exacerbate the suffering of individuals, prompting a surge in the number of people seeking evacuation. The biting cold adds an urgent layer of necessity, underscoring the critical need for swift and effective relocation.
Collaborating with partners, including train services and other companies, we facilitate the journey to bring evacuees to a safe destination. Often, from these interim locations, individuals may continue their journey to different destinations as needed.
Our commitment extends beyond physical relocation. Every evacuee receives comprehensive information and assistance for the next steps, including finding shelter, provision, and navigating local registration points.
Through partnerships and dedicated teams, World HAND International continues evacuating people from the very front lines The elderly, children, people with disabilities, families.
Because everyone has the right to be safe we will not stop. Thanks to our supporters we are able to help people to safer grounds from areas hard to reach in Eastern Ukraine.
If you had the power to save someones life, would you do it?
What would it mean to you if all it would take to bring someone to safety, was to trust someone else to do it.
Let us be your prolonged arm, to evacuate people from active war.
It´s not a question of how much, it´s rather a question of at all.
It takes the minimum to collect enough and save someone.
